This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to offer my incoming class of first graders a brand-new rug this year!
The rug is such an important part of our classroom; we use it each morning for morning meeting, at almost every period to gather for lessons, to sit or lay comfortable during independent or small group activities, or simply sit with a book during independent reading time.
The rug I currently have in the classroom has gotten old and is too small; I expect my class to grow and I'd love for each student to have their own special space on the rug.
