A Soft Start Is a Great Start

Help me give my students Magna-Tiles kits to help with their "soft start" morning routine.

My Project

I have incorporated a "soft start" morning routine with my 17 students this year. They love the items we have, but we could use more. A "soft start" is a simple way for students to ease into their school day and the work they will have to complete. They still do their normal morning routine, but using the Magna Tiles as a "soft start" allows them to warm up their minds without having to do a paper and pencil based activity.

A "soft start" in the morning for a classroom can promote attendance and reduce behaviors during the day.

I am hoping to obtain more materials to help me continue to implement a "soft start" morning routine in my classroom. The Magna-Tiles sets will allow my students to participate in engaging STEM activities every morning.
