I love that my students come to school each day full of energy, curiosity, and resilience. Many of them face challenges outside of school, yet they still show up eager to learn, connect, and grow. They’re kind to one another, excited to share their thoughts, and they thrive when they feel safe and supported.
The rug I’m requesting will help transform our classroom into a welcoming, calming space where students can come together to learn and build a strong sense of community.
It will be the heart of our classroom—where we gather for morning meeting, read-alouds, lessons, and meaningful discussions. For many of my students, having a consistent, comfortable spot to sit helps them feel grounded and ready to engage in learning. It will give each child a space of their own within our shared classroom home.
