I teach children in second grade at an inner city Title I school in North Carolina. I team teach about 30 children.
My students would like to have a soft place to sit when they read and learn. We love to learn together, talk about, and listen to new stories. Currently we sit on the hard linoleum floor during our literacy time because second graders do not need to be sitting at their desk all day.
This rug would allow my students to have a more comfortable place to enjoy reading and group learning time. Our class would use the rug everyday and it would be used my many students of over the years.
You can brighten our classroom and provide a comfortable place for children to explore, learn, and discover. Think about how you would like to learn, sitting on a soft carpet or the hard floor?? My students do not have much and school is a special place for them. You could make it even better with your contribution.
