My students need and would love to have a camera for classroom use, so that they could take pictures showcasing their learning.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Dorsey's classroom raised $257

My Students
My students love to have their picture taken. If they can showcase their work and have their picture taken as well, it a great motivator to do their absolute best work!
The students in room 19 are eager and enthusiastic learners.
They are creative and enjoy sharing their work with others. My students are in the Magnet/Gifted High Achieving Program. Our classroom is multi-cultural and the students come from many different social economic levels. The students learn about traditions and cultures around the world from sharing their heritage with each other. They are encouraged to problem solve and share their work with others in a nurturing environment. Furthermore, they learn that making mistakes are opportunities for learning.
My Project
With a classroom camera, the students will be able to "snap" a picture of themselves and capture their pride in learning. Third grade students love to show their family and friends their work. Furthermore, they feel a lot of accomplishment when other people comment on their work. It would be wonderful to capture memories of learning.
The students are spearheading a "Keep Our Lunch Area Clean" school community project.
It would be wonderful to take pictures of the students while they are working on this project, so that they can share it with parents and friends.
