This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year, I am responsible for educating a class of highly energetic Title I second grade students. I am blessed to have a group of twenty-eight students who love to read, write and learn in general. These kids come from very diverse backgrounds and deserve the best education I can provide.
Each year, I strive to provide my students with an academically rigorous education that not only is at their level, but helps to push them to the next level.
I have worked extremely hard at providing my classroom with as many learning materials as possible; however, there are a few that we need some assistance obtaining.
My Project
These materials will make a difference for my students in many different ways. My students have made goals for this year to be more organized in the classroom. This project will help them achieve this. The Storex book bins will provide my students with sturdy book bins that are not constantly breaking. They will also eliminate the need to purchase new ones each year. The stack-able storage locker will provide my students an area to house their math materials. This will help to eliminate the unorganized math area we currently have and provide my students with a seamless transition during math when manipulative are needed.
