This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of these books is something my students always look forward too. Every time the Book Fair comes or our school library opens I noticed a trend of my students ordering or getting these books which made me realize that I need to make my library more FUN. This helps not only be fun to read but will also expand their reading skills. When a student finds a book they enjoy they pay attention to the words and description and all I want to do for my students is make reading fun. The use of the book bench will help make the library more fun and comfortable. The use of the cart is something so useful in our classroom. I can transfer small groups and whole group materials all around the classroom which make is easier for me to start my lessons on time and keep things close by. It will mean everything to my classroom!
