My Project

My students at my school are some of the most thoughtful and caring young people I’ve had the privilege to teach. They care deeply—not just about their own futures, but about each other’s well-being and the community around them. Many of them have a natural love for reading and an eagerness to learn. They ask big questions, think deeply about the world, and are always looking for ways to grow.

Your support will help make our classroom an even better space for young minds to think, dream, and thrive.

Each resource we add helps them take ownership of their learning. A dedicated bookshelf filled with accessible, diverse, and engaging texts allows my students to explore their interests, build confidence in their reading skills, and develop empathy by seeing life through the eyes of others. It gives our books a proper home—a place of honor—where students can see that reading is not just something we do, but something we value.

That’s why having a book/display shelf in our classroom matters so much.
