This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is in need of a durable and weather-resistant outdoor shed to help us store essential supplies, equipment, and materials that currently lack a permanent home. As we continue to grow and provide more enriching experiences for our students, we’ve found ourselves running out of space inside the building. Items such as event decorations, PE and recess equipment, seasonal classroom materials, and instructional tools often end up scattered across various rooms or stored in makeshift spaces, making them difficult to access and vulnerable to damage.

A dedicated shed would provide a secure and organized location for these items, allowing our teachers and staff to easily access what they need when they need it—without wasting valuable time searching or moving items from one area to another.

It would also improve classroom and hallway safety by reducing clutter and creating more open space for learning and movement.

Your generous support will help us maintain a cleaner, more organized, and more efficient school environment. This shed may seem like a simple structure, but its impact will be lasting—helping our staff stay organized and ultimately supporting our students in having more engaging and well-prepared learning experiences.
