What can pencils do for us? Amazing things! Students in my class face obstacles in and out of school. I want to help them as much as possible and provide them with the basics. A pencil and pencil case can go a long way. I do not want any of my students to worry about the day when they walk into my classroom. My students are amazing thinkers with wonderful potential and an eagerness to learn. They motivate me to be the best educator I could be.
My Project
This school year, I will be teaching 2nd grade social studies. I plan on doing many individual and group projects within my classrooms. My students need to make sure they have pencils, markers, pencil cases and a sharpener that works for the year. With a new pencil sharpener, we can eliminate time being wasted and complete assignments with a nice sharpened pencil every time. I want to make sure that my students do not worry about not having pencils when they walk into my classroom. To see the stress on their faces is definitely not worth it. This would help my students out so much! Thank you for helping my students this school year!!
