This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a set of individual student whiteboards will allow my students to become more engaged in their work. They will use the whiteboards to demonstrate their knowledge, which I can use to adjust instruction.
I plan to use the whiteboards in a variety of ways.
Students will use the whiteboards during vocabulary review, brainstorming activities like see/think/wonder, and during review for summative assessments. This tool will allow me to be able to check for understanding from afar.
Whiteboards allow for vertical learning, which is proven to help with building an open learning community.
