My Project
I have a sweet group of third, fourth, and fifth graders who are all deaf/hard of hearing and English learners. This group is more than a class, they have created a strong community within our classroom. Each student feels safe to be themselves, to ask questions, and to make errors that are needed to learn!
Every student in my classroom has an Individualized Learning Plan (IEP).
These documents are required by law to be stored behind two locks. My classroom does not have a locked closet of any sort to store documents. The locking file system would greatly benefit us and allow us to keep their student files safely in our classroom for easy access and peace of mind.
My students love to work towards goals. This reward chart and stickers would be a lot of fun and brighten up our walls. We are using a newer phonics program and would really get a lot of use out of the mesh pouches to keep our daily phonics supplies orderly. The large Post-Its will get a lot of use in our various academic subjects as mini anchor charts around the room.
