This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are an amazing group of kids, ranging from 9th grade to 11th grade. Currently, they are really struggling this year due to the hybrid learning / remote learning requirements for 2020. They are trying their best to learn from home, but many of them lack the resources needed to achieve success in this environment.
Despite many of them coming from households that have not studied beyond high school, they are extremely determined to make the best of the situation and learn as much as they can this year.
They inspire me daily and I want to provide them with the best math success I can give them.
My Project
The purpose of this project is to keep my students feeling connected and unified during class with the use of a second screen. With a second computer screen, I can keep the Google Meet on display while using my other screen to teach the students with other various programs.
My students need to feel unified more than ever, and a second screen can make that happen.
I will finally be able to see them at any point during class, allowing them to experience a more personal digital classroom experience when I speak to them.
