These chairs will help my students demonstrate proper posture while performing fine and visual motor skills at the table. Currently, the seating provided by the school includes a stool and a chair that is too big, especially for my students in Kindergarten and First Grade. Most of their feet do not touch the floor and several chairs have been tried.
My goal is to get the proper seating for my students in order to improve attention to tasks, feel comfortable sitting when needed, and reduce the risk of them falling.
I truly believe that when a body is well-supported, then the thinking can be freed up to focus on other things such as coloring, writing, cutting, and gluing. These chairs will greatly help enhance their learning environment.
