Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Imagine walking into a classroom that looks like a college seminar room: bright, professional, and built for collaboration. That is the dream I have for my incredible 8th grade students.
My students attend a school where most families face financial hardships, and resources are limited but their determination and potential are limitless.
My students are determined, resilient, and ready for more. They deserve a classroom that reflects the future we are preparing them for.
Right now our desks are bulky, out of date and many are falling apart. It is hard for students to work in teams, share ideas or even feel comfortable during long class periods. With your help we can transform our space by adding 24 rolling desks and 24 rolling chairs that allow movement, collaboration and college style learning.
This upgrade is not just about furniture it is about mindset! When students walk into a room that looks like a place where professionals and scholars work they rise to meet that standard. These changes will encourage student voice and teamwork, improve classroom behavior, give every student a sense of ownership in their learning and overall increase student confidence.
