Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my children are special in so many ways. Although they are mostly non -verbal, their energy is wonderful. With the new table and chairs my students will be able to sit more comfortably while engaging in table toy play with their peers. It will heighten their level of social interaction and increase learning.
The materials for this project already have a home!
I know exactly where it will go. We just need help getting these things to come into our classroom. The table will be used for centers and also allow our children to have a place to enjoy their snack. The chairs will be moved around from centers, morning meeting, or just a little quiet time . Currently my children are sitting at a broken table and on broken chairs. Making sure that my students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them.
