My Project
My ninth grade students are curious, a diverse and vibrant group that bring a variety of experiences and perspectives to our World Geography classroom. In order to enhance our classroom and create a more stimulating and immersive learning environment, we are requesting a TV and cables. These tools will be used in a variety of ways, including: modeling how to use digital interactive mapping software, viewing videos and immersive 3D experiences of cultures and cities around the world, and displaying discussion prompts for facilitating classroom discussions without the need for students to be on their individual devices.
The screen will allow us to better cater to the diverse learning styles within our classroom, ensuring that each student has an opportunity to connect with the subject matter in a meaningful way.
It better equips the teaching team to model the various mapping and research technologies we work with. In turn, these resources will facilitate hands-on experiences, allowing students to actively engage with the content and reinforcing their understanding of geographical concepts.
