This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second-grade students show their excitement to learn new things each day. They love to work collaboratively to identify environmental issues and find solutions to solve the problems. My students are caring, empathetic, intelligent, and self-motivated.

After the pandemic, my students found a new passion for gardening.

This semester, they have brainstormed ideas to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers. As their teacher, I want to give them the opportunity to work together to grow food, exercise, and eat healthy herbs and vegetables. For this reason, I am seeking your support in purchasing a raised garden bed. I can't wait to have the necessary materials for our gardening project.
