My Project

My students are amazing! I work at a school that is school of choice! I love this because all students are here because they choose to be! They come from all walks of life, experiencing different life paths. I am here to meet each one where they are and support them to grow into their best selves. I want to incorporate sand therapy into my room this year. Also I want to give the kids enough fidget toys when needed. I have a “take what you need” box outside my office. The kids are asked to return the items at the end of the day! I am noticing a lot of students love to use art as an escape. The iPad and Apple Pencil would be beneficial for introducing more modern art like using Canva.
