A Safe Space

My Project

I am a counselor who is getting a new office to better accommodate my students. Right now I have a tiny office with furniture that is falling apart. I want to make a safe space for my students and when they walk into my office I want them to feel automatic relief and comfort. In my opinion, the way to start that process is by making our space look as neat as possible. These items will help give my students a fresh start and the safe space they need. So many times all students need is a little break from their classroom. I am happy that my office is the place they can run to. Anxiety in students and teacher have skyrocketed since COVID-19. I work with students and teachers in this office teaching coping mechanisms. I believe that these products would help me and my students feel more comfortable and would help provide that safe space they need!
