Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating will give my students the freedom to choose a learning spot that works best for their needs whether it’s a cozy corner to calm their minds, a stool to help them stay focused, or a floor cushion to feel more comfortable while working. These options help reduce distractions and increase engagement, especially for students who struggle with sitting still or focusing for long periods.

The social-emotional learning area will provide a safe space where students can take a break, regulate their emotions, and practice skills like mindfulness and self-awareness.

This space will be filled with tools and materials to support emotional well being because when students feel safe and supported, they’re better able to learn and succeed.

Every item in this project is chosen with my students’ learning, comfort, and emotional growth in mind. Thank you for helping create a classroom where all students can thrive.
