A Safe Space Starts Here: SEL Tools for Every Child

I would like to start a kit in my office for leading small group sessions focused on student mental health.

My Project

Implementing an SEL kit in my office will strengthen my role as a proactive, supportive school leader. By equipping students with tools to manage emotions and resolve conflicts, I’ll be able to practice restorative approaches, improve school climate, and build stronger relationships with students and families. It also allows me to model SEL strategies for staff, deepening my leadership in promoting mental health and emotional regulation across our school. Through this project, I’ll continue growing as a reflective, compassionate leader who prioritizes the whole child. Materials will be used to plan and prep for leading small groups with students but also coaching staff to do the same.
