Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an energetic group of four and five-year-old students who are extremely curious and eager to learn. As their first teacher ever in school, I feel beyond blessed to be teaching this wonderful group of students. They come to school full of energy and ready to learn. In the few short weeks that I've had them in my class, I have already grown to love them!
My students are eager, energetic, curious, imaginative, and inspiring.
They love to learn and listen to stories. Although they are not reading independently yet, one of their favorite things to do is read the pictures in books and retell stories that we've previously read.
This carpet will provide my students with a cozy and comfortable place to sit throughout the day. My students love to sit and listen to stories being read aloud. They will also use the carpet during our whole-group lessons and during classroom centers. My students love to relax and get comfortable during reading time.
This carpet will allow them to have the space they need to focus on their learning in a clean and germ-free environment. The buttons on the carpet will give each student their own space to learn.
