A Safe Home For Our Chromebooks

My students need a charging and security storage cart for our Chromebooks!

My Students

My students live in a low-income/high poverty neighborhood. They are faced with all different types of challenges both in and out of the classroom. I want them to be able to have more learning experiences that include technology. I want them to develop skills that are needed in today's world. I want them to be able to work on ongoing projects, using the internet daily. They will be able to spend quality time working on meaningful projects during the school day.

My Project

Now that my class has our 9 brand new Chromebooks, we need a place to securely store and charge them. This charging and security cart will keep us at ease, knowing that our Chromebooks are safe when we are not able to be in the classroom. The cart will also allow my class to be more organized and respectful of our products. Students will know exactly where to place and how to change the Chromebooks when they are finished using them. We do not want to have them sitting out on tables and desks, charging in the classroom overnight and over the weekends, that just does not sit well with us!
