My students need a classroom carpet! We do not have a carpet we can all fit on right now, and with the 8' by 12' Nature Alphabet Blocks Carpet we will all have room to sit.

My Students
My students are a lively group of second graders who are excited about learning. They all come from an area with high poverty, so they receive most of their basic needs while at school. We have a lot of fun learning and love to spend time singing educational songs on our carpet.
My students learn best when they are given the opportunity to explore, move, and create.
We get up and move around a lot while we learn to help us stay focused and excited about school. My class is full of students who have very kind hearts and practice kindness every day. We have a close classroom community and love to learn and grow every day together.
My Project
In our classroom, we spend a lot of time on the carpet together. We currently have a small rug where we can't all fit. We are hoping to get a big classroom rug with squares so we all have our own space. While on our carpet, we sing educational songs, work together to complete tasks, and have our morning meetings.
A classroom rug would give us a space to learn and grow as a classroom family.
With a large classroom rug, we will each have our own square to sit. This will allow us the space and opportunity to enrich our school day with music, dance, and collaborative work.
