Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are so sweet! They look out for each other and are the best at teamwork! This rug helps us learn our alphabet, rhyming, and simple words with pictures!

This classroom rhyming rug has room for everyone to learn and grow together while building our class community!

It has fun and silly icons that rhyme from left to right. Each row features a different vowel from the alphabet. Thirty spaces in total provide enough room for each child to sit comfortably, and an alphabet border throws in an extra element of literacy!

The Emotions Coin Drop is to help our children calm down and process feelings. There is enough here for the whole class to use, or one child who needs a break from the group to regulate feelings while allowing others to work. It will also be used for sorting, counting, and graphing.

Please help us to have a happy, safe, and comfortable place to learn and grow together!
