This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We sit at the carpet at least 5-6 times a day for instruction and whole class discussions. The carpet in our class is a cherished spot where we come together to learn and share what we know. We learn math, reading, spelling, have our morning meetings on the rug... we do everything here!
However, we have a big problem: our whole class can't fit on the rug!
Please help us be able to seat our whole class with a rug big enough for all of our students. This is a crucial part of our classroom and daily routine and this community space is in great need!
