My Students
My students are so excited about learning. They are so energetic and curious just about everything. Every day is like an adventure in our classroom. I teach at a Title I school where the students receive 100% free breakfast and lunch.
I have students who learn best when they are actively involved as they play, explore, experiment, discover, and create.
I actively engage my students' thinking processes and encourage them to use their questioning, investigating, and problem-solving skills to help them learn.
My Project
Rugs can be a perfect area for students to create their own rug activities and play on during center time. They also create a cozy classroom environment where they can relax and feel comfortable!
This colorful rug has upper/lowercase alphabet letters and each letter of the alphabet comes with an animal that comes alive in 3D right on the carpet with the help of an iPad or cell phone!!
The students will be able to learn the alphabet through song, matching a habitat card with the correct animal. We can also incorporate the science and social study aspect to help them discuss and learn about the animals' habitat from around the world in which they come from. Students can also work with classmates to have fun by taking photos with the animals.
