Help me give my students a library that inspires them to be writers and great readers.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Amador's classroom raised $465
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I choose books that will inspire kids to be the best version of themselves. I also choose books that affirm their identity. My students are diverse thinkers. Even though their first language is not English, they still work hard every day.
Some students have been through a lot of trauma; so some books will help them heal and be better people.
I also believe students deserve a library that makes them feel important. I want them to say if she can be a writer, then I can too. Some of the books are powerful.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
