My Students
My students and Envision are so resilient. They've gone through so much because of the pandemic and they're school from last year closing. They came to Envision with open hearts and open minds. They are eager to learn from their teachers and from each other. They love being active out in the yard but also exploring their interests through books and art. They give the school so much joy!
My Project
Our learning center has become a safe place that the students go to when they are having a challenging day and need a place to regulate their bodies. Everyone is welcomed at the learning center and we always try to provide them with all the resources they need. These materials are what we need to provide them motivation for their behavioral contracts. It will also provide resources they need for their classrooms and for their small groups. The sensory items will be helpful to regulate their bodies during class and also provide calming resources when they are having a challenging day. Our students come to school excited, knowing they have all these fun materials awaiting them. It will cultivate a fun but also healthy environment for learning. We appreciate all the help.
