it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This donation will make a difference in student's life because it will help them get better at throwing in the sport of wrestling. We have been practicing our throws with the small resource that were funded by DonorsChoose, but it is not adequate for the older students. Last night, we had our second match night in wrestling and I saw students trying to throw their opponents. One of our students was excited after coming off his first win of the season and it was all thanks to practicing his throws. This shows that this resource is helping them gain confidence on the mat. We would be greatly appreciated that this tool will benefit my athletes to practice with a tool that best fits their body structure and learn much more throws and the sport (wrestling). I am seeing them get better through each practice and competition. It will be an honor if you can make a difference in these students' lives by making this project a reality.
