My Project
This year I am teaching a kindergarten and first grade multiage classroom. I love to integrate art into whatever we are learning. This year we will paint insects in science, explore light and shading of 3D shapes in math, and experiment with paint and motion. Students will also have the opportunities to use art materials for their own creative purposes.
With a new combination of students this year, I need to restock our brushes, paint, colored pencils and paper to ensure everyone has what they need to become artists.
When my students have quality materials and time to explore and talk about their art, they have a greater sense of care and responsibility for the materials. I am excited to see what creativity awaits!
