My Project
Creating an inviting and flexible classroom environment can make all the difference for students, especially when it comes to building a love for reading. By providing different types of seating options, I hope to make my classroom a space where students feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to learn.
These resources will support a Title I school community, where many of my students are new to the country and still developing their English language skills.
My goal is to foster confidence in their academic journey and help make school a place they truly enjoy.
The addition of graphic novels will be especially powerful. Unlike traditional books, graphic novels use engaging visuals that help students follow the storyline and better understand the content—even when language is a barrier. These books can open the door to reading for pleasure, helping students build both literacy and confidence at the same time.
