Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a second year teacher who is extremely passionate about education. My goal this year is to focus on creating a calm and organized classroom for my students to focus more on instruction while feeling at ease.

I plan to use the dry erase markers and white boards specifically for small group when working with learning new reading terminology or practice with writing.

For the set of books, I plan to use for "read to self" time or "flashlight Fridays" where the students read in the dark with mini flashlights. Lastly, I plan to use pencils, glue sticks, and paper for students who were not able to provide supplies of their own to school.

My students deserve the world and having financial and emotional support from the community allows me to bring everything I can possible to be the best teacher I can be for them.
