This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are full of excitement to start a new year of school every August! They are wonderful, eager learners. A quiet learning environment is so important when testing their skills. These privacy folders will help my students concentrate on their work in order to show their best on any test. By not getting distracted and focusing on the goal, my students will have the opportunity to show what they know!
I work at a Title One school with low income students, and our school funding is being cut again this year.
I will be having more students in my classroom due to these cuts and need the extra privacy folders to add to the ones I have. Some of my privacy folders that I currently have are not in good shape and need to be replaced. I also need a few more seat sacks due to a higher class size next year to organize student materials.
