A Quiet Place to Accommodate

Help me give my students who are English Language learners and Yoga enthusiasts a different approach to learning a silent equipment bundle set for STEM class.

My Project

Using a silent party headphone set in my STEM class wlll be a game changer and will significantly benefit my ELL and immigrant students by creating a personalized learning environment where they can focus on lessons without distractions. Each student will tune into different audio channels that provide instructions, explanations, or translations in their native language( Spanish for my students). This allows them to engage with STEM content that I previous prepare in advance using Google Suites (docs and slides) at their own pace, reducing language barriers and making it easier to understand complex concepts and for me to help teach them since I do not have anapproved translator in my class.

Incorporating this technology offers a different, new and stress-free way for teachers to communicate with ELL and immigrant students.

Our silent party headphones will also be used for listening to instructions while following along with visual demonstrations, enabling these students to better grasp the material without feeling overwhelmed by the simultaneous noise of the classroom.

Rather than constantly stopping to repeat instructions or manage individual misunderstandings, I will pre-record lessons or provide live audio in sSpanish, ensuring every student receives the support they need. This aprroach helps prevent frustration for both the teacher and the student, creating more inclusive positive learning environment that prioritizes the well-being and success of all students.

Used for guided meditation that can contribute to creating a calm and focused learning environment. Yoga helps reduce stress and anxiety in students, allowing them to better manage their emotions and improve concentration.

The use of headphones ensures that each participant hears the guidance clearly, helping them stay present and connected to the practice and assisted in the correct manner and language they are comfortable learning in. This creates a serene, unified atmosphere where every student can follow along at their own pace.
