My Project
Students with disabilities who are returning to school after COVID-19 have had more difficulty regulating their behavior in a structured environment. When students are having difficulty remaining calm, they may need a break away from a class activity. Having a soft and quiet place to go to, away from the larger group of students, can make it easier to calm down and prevent behavior problems. Students can focus their minds on reading, rather than what is upsetting to them, in order to regain self control and return to the class activity.
