This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After COVID, I have really seen the social skills of my students suffer. I want to work with my students on the proper way to present their research and projects. I want students to be empowered by their presentations and know that they are putting their best foot forward. I believe this is a skill that will serve them well throughout their school career. The biographies will be used to conduct research on a famous American. Students will then use a display board to present their research. They also have the option to dress up and role-play these famous Americans that have made an impact on American society and culture. This project allows students to become fully engaged in their learning through a fun activity.
