A Professional Clothing Bank

Help me give my students a professional clothing bank, preparing them for college and careers.

My Project

Recently, I was talking with a student who had an upcoming important meeting, and she expressed stress about finding professional clothing for this meeting. This is a frequent point of stress for teenagers. Professional clothes are expensive, and knowing precisely what to wear and buy can be confusing. What if we could take some of that stress away by having an option available?

Our intention is to transform an unused room in the library into a professional clothing bank.

This project is really about creating the infrastructure for this clothing bank: a room with storage solutions for holding clothing acquired from the community and community partners.
