Help me give my students a color printer and ink for a little bit of fun while learning using write-the-room activities and other puzzles other than pencil and paper.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to have a color printer in my classroom to aid in my teaching activities. Our school has a color printer; however, the teachers are not allowed to use that printer. It is only used to print certificates.
I would like to use the printer to print color cards for activities like write-the-room and matching upper case and lower case letters.
In kindergarten, we do a lot of paper and pencil work. I want to provide other ways of learning besides pencil and paper. With me being able to print activities in color, the students will be able to use another part of their brains. Also, with the activities that I could print out, the students will not always be sitting in a chair for long periods of time. It's especially hard for Kindergarten students to sit in a chair for long periods of time.
