it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
More than 6 years ago, I asked for a Printer here at DonorsChoose and it was gratefully funded. The printer worked great but unfortunately, the printer was discontinued by the manufacturer and ink has become expensive. The printer has stopped printing in black and I now have another classroom in another building teaching piano. My classroom needs a new printer that should be cheaper to maintain.
This printer will help each student have the printed music they need in class and for home practice.
Because I teach instrumental music, my classes are not considered core and we do not get technology for our classrooms. My goal is the be able to print out a copy of music whenever a student may need it.
Many of my students come in timid and little by little get to be more confident about their abilities to be successful in the classroom. For many, music is the only reason they come to school.
