A Printer and A Monitor...Igniting Published Authors!
Help me give my students access to a printer and monitor to become published authors!
FULLY FUNDED! Dr. Anderson's classroom raised $520
This project is fully funded
My Project
At our school, we have eager students who are ready to take on the discovery of voice, structure, and formatting as they realize that their thoughts are connected to words that can jump off their writing pages as they become authors! We will use the computer monitor and printer for the publishing process as we learn to write across the different genres: expository, narrative, informative, and opinion writing!
By holding publishing parties, my students will be published authors and present their final manuscripts to their peers.
This opportunity will also give them a chance to plan, research, draft, and participate in peer revision as they prepare for monthly "Author" Day presentations.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
