This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love being a Physical Education teacher, especially to my K-5th grade students. They love PE and are always ready to do and try anything I bring as an activity. My students love it when I put out stations that give them many different activities to do such as bouncing a ball, volleying a beachball, tossing and catching a beanbag, balancing on a balance board, or practicing soccer tricks.
My students will be successful doing all the PE activities if they have a poster with a picture that explains what the expectations of that particular station are.
Using a color printer to make all my posters will allow my students to see the activity and be able to do it successfully. This will be helpful especially for my students that do not speak English and for my special needs students. Being able to visualize any specific game or activity will make it more fun for all my students because they understand what they are supposed to be doing. Learning, being successful, and having fun are my goals for all my students.
