This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our Tigers are scholars that come ready to learn. My students are thinkers, helpers, and creative . They are excited to explore and help each other learn. Their motivation to learn is contagious throughout the Petersen campus.
My classroom allows kindergartners to explore, to become thinkers and sets the foundation to becoming life long learners.
Our school believes that all students can achieve greatness, we believe in our students and will support our students with whatever it takes. Kindergarten is an amazing age in which scholars learn to become leaders, critical thinkers, and their social and emotional development tends to go beyond making friends and expressing feelings.
My Project
The products that I have selected have a place and purpose in the classroom. For example, the Wobble chair and Portable Writing Table will provide flexible seating which essentially is differentiation. This allows scholars to be more comfortable, allowing them to focus for longer periods of time.
The Eco Printer is essential because the campus does not have a color printer that teachers can use.
With the use of the color printer, student material will now have a POP of color especially for my visual learners. This printer is Eco friendly and cost efficient with ink. The color Sharpies will help me create colorful anchor charts cuing visual learners.
