This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After many years of teachering, it has become very evident that students need a safe place for themselves and their classroom supplies/materials.
My kindergarten students do not have student desks for their materials because our classroom only has tables.
This makes it very difficult for my five and six-year-old students to store their materials and get organized for success in the classroom. Having seat sacks for each student will give them a place to store their materials, and tools and help save time between transitions in activities and lessons. This will also help them learn the importance of organization in school.
