it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 2nd grade students from Gilroy, California are part of the dual immersion program, which provides both native English speakers and English learners with general academic instruction in two languages. This program gives children of all backgrounds the opportunity to succeed by enhancing their awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity. Additionally, it fosters high levels of academic achievement through instruction in two languages.
Students at my school are ambitious, cheerful, and responsible citizens that take pleasure in learning.
They are kind to one another and help each other grow.
My Project
The colored pencils will help students create beautiful art projects to unleash their creativity.
Classrooms should transmit warmth, beauty, and promote harmony.
The borders and posters will do just that! When students are surrounded by visuals and creatively displayed bulletin boards, they are more likely to learn and enjoy spending time inside the classroom.
The recycling bin will teach students to care about the environment and make smart choices when it comes to throwing stuff away. There will be a lesson on the importance of recycling to go along with it.
Paper will be used year-round for copies, assignments, letters home, and art projects.
