This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a combination class of transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students. Most of them are experiencing a school setting for the first time. My students are special to me because they have a thirst for knowledge and work hard to meet end-of-year goals. These young students are energetic, curious, and enjoy learning. Our school is a Title 1 school and provides free meals to all students.

My students need a new carpet to sit, learn, and play.

Our present classroom carpet is in bad condition due to too many years of usage. A new carpet is essential to my young scholars, since it will provide a place to sit and engage in productive learning. Your support will help my students receive the much-needed classroom carpet.
