My Project
A classroom rug is an important learning space in the classroom. The classroom rug is really the center of the classroom. Most of our learning takes place on the classroom rug. This rug will be new, bright and inviting. It will also help students with designated spaces to help them be safe at the rug as well!
When students come together as a class on the classroom rug, many skills are being developed and skills to connect as a classroom family are built.
I am hoping for a classroom rug for our class to comfortably gather on.
Carpet time supports early learners' academic and social emotional skills. Students will start and end their day at the classroom rug. This rug will be a place for them to not only learn academically, but it will help students establish boundaries in finding their own space, and assist with daily routines. This rug will provide a welcoming environment for current and future students.
