This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, my students learn in a whole group setting while sitting together on the floor. The last two years haven't allowed a comfy place for them to sit because of COVID.
They sit so nicely now, but need a more comfortable spot and that extra visual reminder of boundaries.
This carpet will allow not only a comfy spot, but also a way for them to realize that they have their own area to sit as well as their friends.
This carpet will allow my students to be comfortable, while also giving them the opportunity to focus and learn all that kindergarten has to teach them!
