My Students
In fifth grade we are taller. Our arms and legs are longer. We just need a little more space than most of the other students in our building. We need a bigger rug so that we can sit together without sitting on each other!
My students attend a Title 1 school in north Alabama.
They thoroughly enjoy reading library books on the carpet. Unfortunately, our carpet is quite small and does not allow for many students to read or work together there. A new carpet would change all of that!
My Project
This new resource will bring a much needed reading space as well as a really nice pop of color to our classroom! This rug will give students a place to sit that is their very own. While sitting on the rug students will participate in whole group lessons, read books, listen to books on take and complete other independent activities.
